Install Your Freedom

1. You will need to register at Your Freedom. You will be asked to provide a Username and your eMail address. Once you filled those values in, an eMail with your Password will be sent to you.
This Username/Password combination is valid for both, the WebSite and the "Your Freedom" Software.

Have you not already registered, please do so now via this link.

2. You will need to download the Installer Package for the current Freedom Software.

If you haven't done that already, you can do so via this link.

After the download is completed, please start the downloaded File and follow the Installer Instructions. After the Installer is finished, please read-below.

So you now got your Username, Password and have the Application installed on your PC.

1. Please start the "Your Freedom" Program (typically Start->All Programs->Your Freedom->Your Freedom).

On the first Start, the Setup Wizard will appear:

Click on next please.

2. Proxy Server Configuration.

This Wizard Window will ask you about a Proxy Server Information, which you will need.

Under Windows it will default to the Proxy Server, which is configured in Internet Explorer.

If you don't need a Proxy at all to get onto the Internet, please leave these Fields empty.

-> Most people will be able to use the default value detected by "Your Freedom".

Once adjusted to your needs, click on next please

Dialogue described in Step 2a/b below only comes if your Proxy Server requires authentication.

2a.

In some instances, the Proxy does require authentication.

Your freedom will automatically detect if this is the case and tell you that your setting appear to be correct but that the proxy requires a Username and Password.

2b.

Click on next please, then the Wizard will ask you to put in the Username and Password required for the Proxy. (This what you usually will have to enter in Internet Explorer as well, wenn you try to access the Internet for the first time).

3. Proxy configured successfully

This Dialogue should now tell you that Your proxy settings are correct.

OZ World Online

1. You only need one other program other than YF and OZ, this is Sockscap,

which can be downloaded from here.

2. Make sure YF is set so that the Socks 4/5 port is enabled and set to 1080

3. Open up Sockscap, click on File and then go to Settings and make sure the

SOCKS Settings tab looks like this:

With the SOCKS Server set to "localhost" and port set to "1080"

4. Now click on the "New" button on the Sockscap main window, then click on

the browse button in the window that comes up.

Go to the folder "C:\Program Files\Oz Intermedia\OZWorld_G" (or wherever your OZ folder is stored) and double click on the program called OZ.exe.

The Sockscap main window should now look like this:

5. Make sure YF is connected to a European Server if you're playing OZ in

Europe, or to an American server if you are playing in America, as this will

reduce lag in the game.

6. Once YF is connected, double click on the OZ icon in the main Sockscap

window, or click on the OZ icon and then click on the "Run!" button. OZ World will now run and connect to the OZ server when you log in.
